MY FREE SERVICE "Educating Americans": As a judicious German patriot, I have introduced the leitmotif "Deutschland Deutschland über alles!" to my opinion pages, because it irritates the hell out of me that Germany is almost invariably admired or disliked for the wrong reasons. So no, this is NOT about Jodeln or Schweinshaxe or SS-regalia. Those of you who are looking for that are wrong here. Go away!

This is the successor of my previous "Editor's Office" page. I have taken on most (not all) of its content and updated a lot while it was offline, although there are gaps, which might not be there had it been online all the time.

It is a herculean task to update the links for roughly 120 pages, let alone streamlining and (I hope) beautifying their content. I will upload the pages consecutively and hierarchically, so should you find that some of the content isn't there yet, bear with me.

However, should you find the time, I would be much obliged to learn about any broken links, because I am bound to overlook some.
